Somehow post-revolutionary Russian progressive drama continued the line from Zurich and Berlin DADA and at the same time added ‘social relevance’.  The gradual harnessing of the performing arts and their subsequent total control by the state is evidenced by the journal of the Union of Art Workers – RABIS.
