Cover shows V. Myasnikova as ‘Zoya’ in the film ‘The Winged God’. The centrefold is a montage of out-takes from cinema newsreels: ‘Old and new in Central Asia’, ‘We are building from one end of the country to the other’, ‘ First trip on the Turkestan-Siberia Railway’ and ‘The Fight against Locusts’.
