The cover shows projection equipment of the ‘Fotofon’ type. The leading article of the magazine is concerned with the tasks connected with the talking picture. It says:
‘We lag behind technically and we need the pressure of all forces in the country to catch up with and then to overtake foreign countries’.
The article includes a photograph of a sound projector being installed in the 1st. Sovkino Theatre (artistic) in Moscow.
